H is for Hackney Horse

According to the The Rare Breeds Survival Trust the Hackney Horse is at risk of extinction despite their historic role in traditional British rural life. The number of breeding Hackney Horses, traditionally used for driving carriages, are down from 158 to 129. This breed is dying out as the modern world has no use for them. Hackney Horses need to be valued for what they are rather than what they can do.
