Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope  is the collecive name for butterfies.

Butterfly fossils have been dated from 56 million years ago.

They are the most diverse and most regognizable creatures in the insect world.

Butterflies are famous for their symmetrical wings that often display amazing colours and patterns but the life of a butterfly is far more than their beautiful wings, the butterfly's life is one of complex change.

Butterflies have a four-stage life cycle, as like most insects they undergo complete metamorphosis.

Populations are constantly in danger of disappearing and habitat loss is one of the leading causes of butterfly decine.
